About illuminated signage

We have the ability to design, manufacture and install 4 main types of illuminated signs. They are Traditional , LEDs, Neon and Slimline light boxes.

Traditional Light boxes

These are standard lightboxes that you see under-awnings and mounted to walls.

LEDs

LED’s (light-emitting diodes) are fast becoming the alternative to traditional fluro’s and neon for illumination purposes. Some of the benefits include lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved robustness, and a smaller size which allows for thinner signage. LED’s also emit less heat. The initial upfront cost may be more expensive than alternative methods however the longer term savings from maintenance and running costs far outweigh this higher initial outlay.

Neon

We will manufacture and then install neon and illuminated signage at your premises Australia-wide. The neon can be exposed for a very bright look or it can be placed behind the lettering to produce a halo effect. Our in-house designers and project managers can work closely with you to ensure the signage matches the aesthetics of the site. You can help us by choosing a neon colour from our neon colour chart.

Ultra Slim light boxes / Edge lit light boxes

All slimline lightboxes (also known as ultra-slim lightboxes and edge-lit lightboxes) are custom made to size up to about 5 metres in length and some of the options include weatherproofing boxes, double-sided boxes, non-illuminated boxes, hinged and/or lockable boxes. For our standard frameless boxes, the units start at approximately 20mm thick for LED units and 34mm for boxes that use edge-lit T5 fluorescent tubes for illumination. Double-sided boxes start at approximately 45mm thick. We also offer more cost-effective illuminated snapper frames if required. The lightbox extrusion for the sides, top and bottom of the boxes can be powdercoated to match any colour, please have a look at the PMS colour chart.

Charateristic of Ultra-slim light boxes

Definition: thin, top of the range lightboxes that use edgelite illumination in high quality lightweight aluminium frames. They usually consist of T5 fluroscent or LEDs for energy saving purpose.
